According to Broadcasting & Cable and Perez, there's a HSM 4 in the works, to be released like its 1st and 2nd counterparts - on the Disney Channel instead of in theaters.

If Zacky boy Efron is on board, then I'm all over it. But don't BET ON IT. haha (seriously if you've never watched that scene from the 2nd movie, you must stop what you're doing right now and click on the link. powerful stuff. haha). Anyway, I think he's outgrown the franchise. And besides, wouldn't it technically need to be called College Musical if the story continues to follow Troy and Gabriella?
