Dakota = Jane?

all the twilight sites are buzzin about the news of summit offering the role of "jane" to 14-year old dakota fanning! word is that she may not even have to audition - the summit folks are offering the role outright. stay tuned. dakota's currently doing a press tour for her new movie "push" (with hottie chris evans), which interestingly enough happens to be backed by summit as well.

well, since the obama girls are so into the jonas brothers, then maybe that tempers the shame of being a tweenty-something jo-bro fan.  :-) or not.

check out little malia and sasha dancing away to the jonas brothers' set during last night's kids inaugural ball (p.s. how uber cute was it that even kids got to have an inaugural party too!).

it's the tween golden globes, kids. the most fabulous underage party in hollywood. everyone and anyone you've obsessed, swooned or squealed over will be there {hopefully - but new moon will be filming...eek!}. dwayne "the rock" johnson is hosting and nominees are yet to be announced {feb 23rd}.

and if my most desperate wishes come true and the twilight cast IS there that night.....ohhh!

i'll pass out.

Vanessa Hudgens eyeing Twilight sequel role

London (ANI): Hollywood actress Vanessa Hudgens is eyeing the role of 'Leah Clearwater' in the Twilight sequel 'New Moon'. Its been reported that Vanessa, who shot to fame with 'High School Musical' series, auditioned for the part in the Twilight sequel.

Vanessa has even got the nod from Twilight actress Ashley Greene, who thinks Vanessa would be a great addition to the cast. "I think she'd be great," The Daily Star quoted Greene, as saying.

Greene reportedly told MTV that the script to New Moon, which will be directed by Chris Weitz, would be rewritten before filming begins.

and not even on dvd.
in the theatres.
in 3-D.

a little background

so this blog really started out as just a spot for me to house some twilight links and blips and reminders (without having to bookmark on my computer, which never seems to work as i barely ever open my bookmarks folder). then i thought it'd be funny to expand the twilight email string that i'm on with my friends into a blog and post my random findings here instead of emailing all the time (and maybe they could do the same and we could turn this into a shared blog). then i thought, why limit this to just twilight. there's plenty of other tween-related content i can add, seeing as how gossip girl and one tree hill are among my favorite shows of the moment.

so that's where we are today. the contributors piece is still in the works, but that's the basic story behind this blog. just a place to unwind and unleash my inner tween without any fear of judgement. actually, scratch that last part. i know this little spot will be discovered eventually, and i'm terrified of the response!! but i can't worry about that. love me, hate me, turn your nose up at me, roll your eyes at me, take me as i am - (almost) 30 going on 13.

acoustic version of "decode" by paramore

amazing. love the lead singer's voice on this. i heart acoustic versions of songs.

and of course here's the video to the original, the version with clips from the movie (the band shouldn't have even bothered releasing a version w/o the clips- that's the whole point of watching this music video!).



p.s. i hear the release date for the twilight dvd is march 21st. WOO HOO!!!!!!!! :-)

UPDATE (re: twilight dvd): now there are rumors going around that it won't be until april. but then again i read somewhere that it also might be feb 14 on valentine's day. awww, how perfect!
