soooo....my last post was in 2009! wow! i haven't forgotten about you, my dear blog which holds a special place in my heart. for a while i really didn't have much in the teenybopper world that i was so passionate (read: obsessive) about to blog about. but i'm feeling a resurgence here.

since my last post in 2009, i hadn't finished the entire twilight book series. gasp! i know! i know! welp, unfortunately that statement still rings true today in 2011. gasp! blasphemy! i know, right. with the movie release of breaking dawn quickly approaching i figured i should get back on track and finally finish the series. and when i do, i will post once again and we'll get this blog going again! who's excited?! the blog may morph a little (i'm considering jumping onto tumblr - appropriate right? haha) but i'm coming back!

hey peeps!! hope you're still out there. somewhere. my apologies for leaving you all hanging like that for several months. just noticed that the last time we posted was back in may. wowza! well, august is quickly winding down and soon we'll be in the -ber months - i.e. septemBER, octoBER and the all-important new moon NOVEMBER!

i know the tiz has got a newer video out and an album releasing soon, but i just had to give props on this older single of hers because it was super underrated. i always thought this was a great pop song. great tempo, cheesy lyrics - all the makings for a pop hit, or so you would think!

yeah, i know her dancing's a bit awkward, but i ain't trying to say she's the next britney spears or nothing! you gotta admit though, this is a trillion times better than v-hudge's sneaker night. *cringe*

happy friday! for your musical enjoyment, today i present to you the soundtrack of all soundtracks. yes my friends, it's hannah montana!! woo!!!

HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE SOUNDTRACK

not that it should be much of a surprise but i really liked this movie. a lot. more than i probably should be admitting. the music was great. the storyline was sincere and not as predictable as i thought it'd be. and of course you had your cheese-tastic disney moments throughout the movie - miley and lily on a go cart racing to get hannah to the stage, chaos ensues. oliver and rico rigging a cake that blows up. chaos ensues.

my two favorite songs on the soundtrack: "the climb" by miley cyrus and "crazier" by taylor swift. i know i mentioned the tayswift song already, but seriously i'm OBSESSED with the song! and "the climb" is really just a feel-good, go out and conquer the world pop song.

honorable mention goes to "hoedown throwdown." i hated this song before watching the movie and seeing miley try to teach this dance to people on the various tv shows she went on to promote the movie. sorry miles, but ya just can't dance sistah! anyway after watching the movie, well, it's still a cheesy little dance but it's just so bad it's good! haha!

NEW MOON BIRTHDAY PARTY OUTFITS REVEALED (LAST DAY OF TWILIGHT SHOOTING AT CULLEN HOUSE!)

It’s been a long past couple weeks since Amy and I, and friends, started visiting the Twilight sets. I’m pretty exhausted. This may be the last of it for us

My morning alarm went off 30 minutes ago… but here’s the catch — we just got back home. Yup, we were out all night at the Cullen House set. We saw the new outfits for the birthday party scene. And yes, to Amy’s excitement, Rob was there. Let me explain.

We’d been meaning to visit the Cullen house set in North Vancouver for some time now. Amy and Ranelle managed to guess the location of the set (thanks Ranelle for all the update!).! However… with work and Canucks playoff games though, it just didn’t work out and we weren’t able to visit until tonight after the (awesome) game.

We rolled up to the set tonight at around 12:30 am to find it packed with about 30 teenage girls. Some even camped out in sleeping bags, lawn chairs, etc! Wow, crazy! We knew that it would be about their “lunch time” when we got there since they were shooting overnight, and so we hoped to get some glimpses of the cast leaving in the vehicles for the catering site.

After a few blinding headlights and lots of waiting, believe it or not… yes… Rob Pattison (Edward) and Kristen Stewart (Bella) streaked by in their car.

We couldn’t see too much of the set, except that the parts of the house we could see looked quite like the one in Twilight. It was surrounded by a forest… completely lit up by the filming below. It was actually really surreal.

Another car drives by, and here’s a strange one: Edi Gathegi (Laurent) and Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria). I wonder what they were doing there. Were they visiting the set? Were they filming a scene for Eclipse? Were they filming a new scene for New Moon that wasn’t in the book? Hmmmm….

Everything died down at around 1:00 AM once all the cast had taken off for lunch. The entire sidewalk of girls emptied, down to pretty much us four (Amy, Mandylicious (so cool in person!), Mel, and myself) and a group of young girls in sleeping bags. The security guards had been super strict for the past 3 days and no one was even getting a real glimpse at anything. At this point we weren’t really sure what to do. I was pretty burnt out myself, but Amy hadn’t seen Rob yet and it was Friday night after all… so we decided to stick it out.

We made quite a few Tim Horton’s runs that night for hot tea. We were cold, really cold. I wasn’t planning on camping out like that so I was freezing as I wasn’t really dressed appropriately (my hockey jersey and a mini skirt and leggings).

But we did it. We froze our asses off until 6 AM in the morning and wow, were we ever rewarded!

The teenage girls took off, and we were the final four. We were just about to give up hope when some headlights blinded us and a white SUV pulled up… but instead of screeching off like normal… they SLOWED DOWN!

We saw Peter roll down his window…

And believe it or not… Peter Facinelli (Carlisle), Kristen Stewart (Bella), and Nikki Reed (Rosalie) in full hair and make up got out of the van! Peter said, “We just have to get out and give you girls hugs for waiting all this time!” Hugs all around. Kristen asked Amy how long we’d been there, and Amy said “10 minutes” at first and then eventually told her the truth. Nikki was just beaming… she looked great and her new wig looked amazing.

We were super excited to see they were in full hair and makeup, all dressed up in the new costumes for the Birthday Party scene!

Peter looked absolutely stunning in person in his “vamp” look. Wow, he honestly looked a little supernatural in person. It looked like his outfit was a gray cashmere button up sweater, a gray and white striped scarf, over a white checked stiff dress shirt and an ice blue textured tie, with gray slacks. Very sleek!

Kristen and Nikki were covered up, but they both looked great. Kristen was wearing a bathrobe to keep warm over the birthday party dress which was cleverly covered! However… we have clues. It appears she is wearing a frothy light blue and turquoise striped cocktail dress. You can see in the top picture with her and Rob that the bottom of the dress is ruffled and layered. Looks very pretty from what we can see! Nikki has an amazing warm smile and she is so gracious. She beamed at us the entire time taking photos and waved when they left. We’re not sure about Rosalie’s outfit… any guesses?

Soon another van pulled out and Jackson got out! He also wanted to thank us for hanging out for so long and he also gave Amy a big hug. Mandy let him know they were at the concert on Tuesday and Jackson seemed stoked about that and mentioned the other shows coming up.

It was so neat to see the cast members with their makeup and contacts, especially after seeing them at the concert/bar as “normal” people having fun.

It looks like “Jasper”’s outfit for the scene will be a handsome dark blue button-up collared dress shirt, a bold square belt, dark blue jeans, and some really great black oxford shoes with a stacked heel, pointed toe, and matte leather. Nice! Jackson looked very sexy.

And last, but not least…

Rob Pattison’s car pulled up and stopped in front of us with Rob and Ashley Greene. You can see that “Edward”’s outfit for the scene consists of a sharp black blazer, a charcoal ribbed heavy sweater, and tight gray jeans. Unfortunately we can’t see Ashley’s outfit. I’m guessing that jacket isn’t part of it?

They rolled down the window and Rob exclaimed in his accent, “You guys are crazy!.” The girls got pretty excited and snapped a couple rare pics. Rob and Ashley smiled at us and put up with our photos and said bye to us before leaving. Very cool of them to roll down the window and say hi! Amy mentioned how uncomfortable Rob is about photos, so that must have been tough for him to do but we really appreciated it! And they both looked gorgeous.

And that’s it! We were super stoked, very tired, and definitely impressed again by the graciousness of the cast and the opportunity just to see them. And those outfits look GOOD! I’m excited to see the scene in the movie.

And now, it is time for bed. It’s 9 AM and I need sleep. Goodnight "

i have a new obsession. actually, not necessarily new as i've talked about him a couple of times on here already. and no i'm not talking about nick jonas, but good guess.

people, i am officially obsessed with zac efron. or zacky boy as i like to refer to him. seriously. obsessed. and it's all because of his new movie 17 Again which i caught last night at the midnight showing with 30/13 partner in crime, sb.

it's so wrong to be obsessed with this kid (errr, not officially a kid anymore since i just learned he's now 21! yes!), but i can't help it. i still can't believe this is the same troy bolton from the very first high school musical. my how he's grown into quite the dapper fellow. definitely check him out in his new movie. there are admittedly a few awkward moments in the film, but his acting chops, like his looks, are getting finer and finer w/ age. haha! here are a few stills from the movie. check out the flick and let us know what you think!

Sexy Robert Pattinson Helps Kristen Stewart Turn 19

Kristen Stewart turned 19 yesterday and got a chance to let loose and celebrate with some of her New Moon castmates at Chill Winston in Vancouver last night. As usual, all eyes were on sexy Pattinson, who tried to stay under his hoodie but still stopped to sign some autographs for fans and gave a thumbs up from inside his taxi. Another Twilight man, Jackson Rathbone, was also snapped on his way in with the birthday girl. With such a hot young cast, there are constant rumors of romance on set, though they've been quick to deny the latest that Rob is hooking up with Nikki Reed. It's hard to imagine there aren't at least some raging hormones, but at this point any Rob-costar love is restricted to the big screen.

He’s married to one of the most beautiful women in the world, and has established the type of successful Hollywood career that usually has actors excited to work with him. Yet, Ryan Reynolds’ new film “Adventureland” was a thrill to the 32-year-old star for a reason you might not expect: It brought him one step closer to Robert Pattinson.

“I love ‘Twilight’,” insisted the star, who shares some steamy moments in April 3rd’s “Adventureland” with Kristen Stewart. “Oh my God are you kidding me? Robert Pattinson in a word: dreamy.”

Reynolds got to live out his very own “Twilight” fantasy while filming the coming-of-age drama about a college kid (Jesse Eisenberg) in the Eighties working at a run-down summer amusement park, as his character is a burned-out handyman having an affair with a girl nearly half his age – who just happens to look a lot like Bella Swan. But he insisted that the love scenes with KStew weren’t awkward, since she comes across as so much older.

“She’s an old, old soul,” Reynolds said of the Kristen Stewart. “Sometimes I wonder if she’s one of the Golden Girls with a great face lift.”

“I can’t believe how wise she is,” he added. “I feel pretty strongly that she’s going to fix our contracting economy.”

Asked if he wants to make a movie someday with RPattz, the “Van Wilder” star said “Sure.” It was his next comment, however, that might make Scarlett Johansson tear up any buddy-comedy scripts that could potentially pair the two actors.

“Oh are you kidding me?” Reynolds grinned when asked if he’d like to shoot scenes opposite the hunky Brit. “Look, I’m not gay - but I’m thinking about it.”

Robert Pattinson Sinks His Fangs Into New Flick

Robert Pattinson starring as a hot young thing struggling with a star-crossed love?

It could work.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Twilight's broodiest vampire has entered into early talks to trade in his would-be fangs in favor of the slightly more realistic—but just as potentially dreamy—drama Memoirs.

The film centers on two new lovers whose burgeoning relationship is threatened when they each must deal with family tragedies.

First up, the Pattz-approved Memoirs. Rachel Getting Married writer Jenny Lumet is on board to give the script a final once-over.

Adding to the likelihood that the project will quickly become Pattinson's official next swoon-worthy vehicle, the film is being produced by Summit Entertainment, the same company that assembled Twilight and the now-shooting New Moon.

There's no word on a possible start date for the project, though Pattinson is currently reprising his role as—as if you had to ask—Edward Cullen in the second installment of the Stephenie Meyer franchise.

after a 2 year hiatus and a edgier junior album, "my december", people wondered if she peaked early. could she ever have another album that matched her sophomore, pop perfection album - "breakaway?"

well, kids, if any of you have listened to her latest album, "all i ever wanted," you know the answer.

even rolling stone agrees:

"My Life Would Suck Without You" is a kind of repentance, a chastened pop star's retreat from auteurdom. It's also, as it turns out, fantastic — the early favorite for single of the year.

It's hard to match that thunderclap opening, but Clarkson does....... "I Do Not Hook Up" is another spitfire mix of melody and crashing guitars — one of the most raucous odes to chastity in recent memory. Next comes "Cry," a big waltz-time ballad whose tune holds a hint of Nashville-pop twang. Latin steps predominate on the left, as the Sharks and their ladies give America a taste of the culture to come. On the right, we have a series of funky Anglo moves, as the Jets and their gals go rhythmically at it. On either side, our two tragic protagonists have eyes only for each other. Camilla Belle and Ben Barnes are the headliners because last year (when the shoot was supposed to come out) had big movies, Camilla had 10,000 BC and Ben had Narnia.

Jacob Black’s new bod is going to make you howl. Just ask Alice Cullen — she can predict the future!

Appearing in New York City this weekend to promote her charity, DonateMyDress.org, Ashley Greene gushed to InTouch Magazine over workout warrior Taylor Lautner, who bulked up for New Moon.

Ashley dished:

He looks fantastic…I was sitting in the make-up trailer and I looked over and he was taking his shirt off because he was doing a—they were looking for his double—and I was just like, “You’ve got to be joking. You’ve got to be joking.” The girls are going to be very satisfied, I can tell you. It looks like [The] 300!

We liked the idea of Taylor in The 300 so much, we put him in it ourselves! Check out the pic above!

Ashley had lots of other things to say, too. Including reassurances for Robert Pattinson fans that he ain’t going anywhere!

Of course they threw Rob in there! He comes in as a flittering image to tell Bella not to do anything reckless and then you have him at the very beginning at school, at the party when he’s saying goodbye to her, and the flitterring images and in Italy as well, so they’ll get their fix.

Phew! Thanks for the reassurance, we were getting pale white just thinking about missing out on Rob!

wowza. he is the reason i'll be tuning in every monday night. i mean, there are tons of other reasons but he is definitely a strong factor (by the way, props to the writers for continuing to keep the storylines interesting. and for casting DAWSON! brilliant!).

Gossip Girl, The Prequel

who's excited about the gossip girl "prequel" / spinoff? i am, i am!

so the show, tentatively called lily, is still in the early stages of development and above are some of the potential cast members in talks with the cw. the show will follow the young life of Lily van der Woodsen, waaaay before she became the Lily Bass we've come to know and love today - widow to Bart Bass, mom to serena, erik and a mystery love child with rufus, plus not to mention guardian to chuck bass which should warrant her mother of the year accolades for such a daunting task. the show may even take place before her heydays with rufus, since there's hasn't been any speculation yet on who would play the younger version of our favorite Papa Humphrey.

what we DO know right now is that all signs point to a yes for actress brittany snow to play the young lily. i think it's an excellent choice. she can do well in a teen dramedy, as we've seen in john tucker must die, which you may remember from a previous post has its own gg-connection via lonely boy's appearance in the flick as the other tucker brother!

if the writers for lily are the same as the ones for gg, well then it already trumps 90210 in my opinion. stay tuned for more info!

According to Broadcasting & Cable and Perez, there's a HSM 4 in the works, to be released like its 1st and 2nd counterparts - on the Disney Channel instead of in theaters.

If Zacky boy Efron is on board, then I'm all over it. 'Twilight' exclusive: Chris Weitz will not direct third film, 'Eclipse'

Chris Weitz will not direct the third film in the Twilight series, Eclipse, a source close to the production tells EW.com exclusively. Because New Moon, which Weitz is helming, and Eclipse are due to be released so close together (on Nov. 20, 2009, and June 30, 2010, respectively), Weitz will be in post-production on New Moon at the same time that Eclipse will be shooting. That said, the source confirms a report that the movies will not be shot simultaneously or back-to-back; there will be a brief gap between the production of both films. (Reporting by Adam B. Vary)

Retracting my previous post. Think I jinxed it! No AnnaLynne McCord in New Moon after all. Don't know about the other guy. Bummer. Of course OK magazine is the one who reported it too early, only to have to take it back. Should have known - OK is known to be one of the less reputable among the gossip rags.

OK! Magazine is stating that both of these 90210 starlets are on board for New Moon. For real? Didn't realize they were both confirmed already.

Other blips from their "7 Secrets of the Twilight Sequel" online piece:
- The guy from Narnia will not be playing Aro
- Shooting is only a few weeks away but the cast hasn't received the full script yet! Script not done? Or just a means of security so nothing gets leaked? I suspect both.
- Paramore confirmed to write another track for the movie

Dakota Fanning is confirmed for the role of Jane in “New Moon” so the next challenge will be casting her twisted vampire brother Alec.

Compared to Jane, “his hair was darker, and his lips were not as full, but he was just as lovely,” writes author Stephenie Meyer of Alec in New Moon.

The actors on for the role can be Tom Felton, best known as Harry Potter’s foe Draco Malfoy, High School Musical’s Lucas Grabeel, French actor Gaspard Ulliel of Hannibal Rising or Freddie Highmore, who sweetly stole scenes in Willy Wonka and Finding Neverland.

I have a small HSM crush on sweet Lucas Grabeel, so my vote's on him. how about you?

amidst threats to replace him as the role of jacob black, taylor secured his role in "new moon," ensuring the producers he would look the part of jacob black come production time.

after a few months of endless workouts and hearty amounts of protein, a newly chiseled, hulky taylor has been spotted around tinseltown.

the oscars.

the rumormill is sizzling with the news that a certain dreamy vampire & his warm-blooded girlfriend with be gracing the oscars with their presence next sunday night.

so cheesy. such an unnecessary scene. yet so hysterical......and so very well choreographed!! :)

even if you're not a fan of the hsm franchise, just watch the 3rd movie and marvel in how much zac efron has grown since the first one.

spectacular = the new hsm?

so what's so spectacular about spectacular? it's supposed to be nickelodeon's version of high school musical. it has all the same elements. main guy goes out of his comfort zone and joins something he never thought he'd do. troy bolton was the basketball jock who also had a flair for singing and acting. now we have the rocker guy who finds himself in some sort of show choir. boy meets girl in this new setting. they fall in love. they succeed at whatever competition or show they have at the end of the film. spectacular hasn't even debuted on tv yet (gotta wait until monday - set your tivo's!), but i'm pretty sure my synopsis isn't that far off.

did ya hear? twilight's former director, catherine hardwicke, has penned a new book chronicling all the behind the scenes action of filming twilight last year!! from casting to location scouting, the book is supposed to read like her own personal journal/notebook while making the film.

all the twilight sites are buzzin about the news of summit offering the role of "jane" to 14-year old dakota fanning! word is that she may not even have to audition - the summit folks are offering the role outright. stay tuned. dakota's currently doing a press tour for her new movie "push" (with hottie chris evans), which interestingly enough happens to be backed by summit as well.
